McKelvy named store manager of Laurel McCoy’s Building Supply

LAUREL, Mississippi–McCoy’s Building Supply announced today the appointment of Andy McKelvy as the Store Manager of its store located at 1717 West 20th Street.

McCoy’s Regional Manager Waylon Walker says McKelvy’s enthusiasm will benefit the Laurel community.

“I am excited about Andy’s intense focus on customer service and delivering an exceptional customer experience,” Walker says. “I am confident that Andy and his crew can and will make McCoy's the place to shop for building materials in Laurel.”

McKelvy says he will concentrate on improving customer service by applying a hands-on approach to serving his customers.

“Customer service is key to running a successful business,” McKelvy says. “My goal is to have a caring, serving attitude on a daily basis toward all McCoy’s shoppers. I’m looking forward to personally getting to know all of our long-time customers and hopefully some new ones.”

McKelvy has six years tenure with McCoy’s. He is accompanied on his move to Laurel by his fiancée, Candace Bellone, and her three-year-old son, Jacob.

“Candace and I are looking forward to growing our family here,” McKelvy says. “I’m planning on getting involved in the Chamber of Commerce and the Laurel Builder’s Association.”
