ZIP System sheathing and tape is an innovative, one-of-a-kind structural roof and wall system with a built-in, energy-efficient barrier that keeps moisture out and reduces air leakage. With continuous air barrier and foam insulation, the ZIP System Insulated R-Sheathing provides a higher R-value and promotes greater energy efficiency than traditional housewrap.
The simple two-step installation of ZIP System is so easy it turns taping into a one-man job, and so fast it installs up to 40% quicker than housewrap-- simply butt the panels and tape the seams! Zip System’s Stretch Tape makes it easier to flash tricky areas by adhering to a variety of surfaces and can be stretched and molded to ensure a snug fit around pipes, corners sills, and curves. The Stretch Tape Roller makes it even easier to access the hard-to-reach spots like corners, doors, and windows. Plus, its R-Sheathing features a protective weather barrier integrated directly onto the panel, so there is no need to cover it with housewrap, one panel has it all.
