Adding siding to your house is a big job. You can make it easier by using our calculator to help you determine how many square feet of siding you need to get the job done.

- Measure the width and height of the side(s) of your house.
- If you have a gable, ascertain its height by measuring vertically from the roof peak down to the height of its sides.
- Measure for the square footage of anything that will not be covered with siding like doors and windows. Add these together to get the total square footage of area that will not have siding.
