C-4 grade Medium Density Fiberboard - this product is 1/4 in thick, 4 ft wide by 8 ft long and is made from Birch. This product is also sanded.

Birch is a light wood with a very fine grain and is often used to make cabinets, furniture and hardwood floors
This plywood has an C grade on the front and a 4 grade on the back; a C grade allows unlimited pin knots and small burls, can contain up to eight repaired or sound knots up to 1/2 in diameter; allows unlimited mineral streaks and vine marks; a 4 grade can contain some open defects, knotholes up to 4" in diameter are permitted, open splits, and joints limited by width and length
Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made from residual wood fibers combined with a wax and resin binder and formed with high temperature and pressure; provides a dense board and a smooth clean finish
